February is upon us, Meribel and Courchevel are gearing up ready for an influx of families to the resorts. Piste are well groomed and the entertainment events calendars are bulging with fun for all the family. Snow conditions are prime in the 3 valleys due to the recent MEGGA snowfall and forecasts are fairly sunny for the next week.
#AlbertAction our company mascot and in-chalet furry friend, is SO excited to meet our new guests and show them around the mountain! #AlbertAction LOVES an adventure so don’t forget to take him out and share the fun tagging @AlbertAction for any photos. Just like our lovely guests Ben and Chloe Riglar, they stayed in Chalet Bouchot recently and had so much fun getting #AlbertAction to help build an igloo and a snowman!

Events to look forward to in Meribel are as follows:
Sunday 12th February
Elements park challenge; pop down to the Elemnets Park at the top of the Plan de l’homme chair lift and jump/slide over the the boxes – 10:30am.
Pet the huskies; meet local mountain dogs at the Piste des Inuit Meribel Altiport, 1-4:30pm.
Warm up with complementary hot chocolate, Piste des Inuit 2-4pm.
Monday 13th February
Welcome drink at La Chaudanne, ask the experts to recommend routes for the day 9-11am.
Inuits Fishing Mystery; fish for mysterious objects in the lake and keep whatever you find, Piste des Inuits, 2-4pm.
Kenotte an organised family entertainer will be at the sledging area, Meribel Altiport, 3 – 4pm.
Himalaya by night; sledge down the green run Little Himalaya in Meribel Mottaret, 1 run 5euros the whole evening 10euros, 5:30 – 6:30pm.
Tuesday 14th February
Love is in the air as we celebrate Valentines Day in resort.
Why not pop down to Meribel centre and join in the street party! Starting 4-7pm there will be music from the fabulous “Counterflow” and free Vin Chaud.
Valentines celebrations. La Follie Douce 9am – 5pm.
DC Area 43; Welcome drink and games, starting at the DC Area 43 hut, win DC shoes and goodies! 2 – 4pm.
Market day in Meribel! Head down to the town centre where you will find a local market selling cheese, wine, sweets and clothing – a great place to buy gifts for friends and family.
Wednesday 15th February
Ice Hockey; at the ice skating rink in the Olympic centre, 3euros for children and 5euros for adults, 8:30-11pm.
FEATURE OF THE WEEK…. Extraordinary Eagles Day! Head down to the family cool area at the bottom of the Altiport chair lift and experience the Lac Leman Eagles show for 30mins the first show is at 11am and the second 3pm.
Thursday 16th February
Ice rink foam party; skate in foam to the latest DJ beats 8-10pm at the Olympic centre ice skating rink.
Free introduction to Archery; Neige de l’Altiport try out Archery and get a free hot chocolate or tea 10am-4:30pm.
Inuits Sledge; have fun sledging on the inuits toboggan run 2-4pm.
Himalaya by night; sledge down the green run Little Himalaya in Meribel Mottaret, 1 run 5euros the whole evening 10euros, 5:30 – 6:30pm.
Friday 17th February
Market day in Meribel! Head down to the town centre where you will find a local market selling cheese, wine, sweets and clothing – a great place to buy gifts for friends and family.

Events to look forward to in La Tania are as follows:
Alongside the organised activities in La Tania there are also lots of things to do in the Courchevel valley. The free bus runs throughout the day between La Tania and Courchevel 1850, here you will find many family friendly activities such as; bowling, the FAMOUS Courchevel toboggan run and ice skating. Courchevel also has an incredible new swimming and activities centre called “Aquamotion”
