ATOL 3292 - If you book a Flight-Inclusive Holiday with us it is automatically financially protected by the ATOL Protection Scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. What is ATOL Protection?
ATOL Protection is a scheme which we pay into to protect you should the flight company cease to trade before or during your ski holiday. Should this happen, we will pay for you to be either refunded, reimbursed or brought back to the UK.
Who pays for ATOL Protection?
The ATOL Licence Holder (in this case, Alpine Action) pays an ATOL Protection Contribution for each passenger that books a product covered by our licence.
What is the difference between ABTA and ATOL?
ABTA is a financial protection scheme for passengers who have booked rail, road or sea travel holidays.
ATOL is a financial protection scheme for passengers who have specifically booked flights.
Alpine Action is a member of both the ABTA and the ATOL Protection Schemes.
Does ATOL Protected mean I will get my money back?
When you book your package Meribel Ski Holiday with us we will provide you with an ATOL Protection Certificate which will show you what aspects of your ski holiday are protected.
When was the ATOL Scheme introduced?
As the popularity of travelling abroad grew, the ATOL Scheme was introduced in 1973 to protect travellers in the event that the company they’re flying with ceases to trade.
