Chalet Hosts - A Couple or Two Friends


Working for Alpine Action as a Chalet Couple 

Are you a lively person with a passion for food and skiing? 
As a Chalet Couple you will live and work with your partner to run a successful and welcoming chalet holiday to all our clients. It is essential that at least one half of the couple have cooking qualifications, professional cooking experience or be under taking a chalet styled cookery course. You should both have hospitality industry experience, this is so you are confident in your role as Chalet hosts. The cusinie and service provided by you will includes a cooked breakfast; freshly baked afternoon tea,
children’'s high tea, canapés and a 3-course evening meal 5 days a week. You should be well presented with a flexible happy attitude.

You will need:

  • Approachable, presentable and professional 

  • Highly organised and good at problem solving

  • Kind natured and caring towards all staff and guests needs

  • Hospitality Experience /Customer service experience - or be taking a cookery course.

  • To love skiing or snowboarding

  • You will need a EU Passport, so European, Irish or dual nationality.

  • Full clean driving license, held for at least 3 years and must be over the age of 21 years  

  • Completely availability for the role from beginning of December to April 2022.


  • Passionate about skiing/snowboarding, cooking and entertaining, be able to confidently cook to a high standard for 5 nights a week for adults & children.

  • An approachable and friendly nature is essential.

  • You will need to create a warm, friendly ‘home from home’ environment in your chalet.

  • Keep the chalet to a high standard of cleanliness, we do a mid week room clean and towel change and a daily clean of communal areas.

  • Running a chalet has the responsibility of food and wine ordering, linen inventories and shopping, all of which is monitored weekly by Resort Management.


Independent Chalet Host/Cook

Working for Alpine Action as an independent Chalet host in La Tania

Are you a lively person with a passion for food and skiing? 

As an independent Chalet Host you will work as part of a small team and you will run your own 6 person small chalet to provide a successful and welcoming chalet holiday to all our clients. It is essential that you have cooking qualifications, professional cooking experience or be under taking a chalet styled cookery course, you will need to have worked in the hospitalirty industry. This is so are confident in the role of chalet hosts. The cusinie porvided by the host is breakfast; freshly baked afternoon tea, children’s high tea, canapés and a 3-course evening meal 5 days a week. You should be well presented with a flexible happy attitude.

You will need:

  • Although driving is not part of the job, you may be required to drive a vehicle at some point and will therefore need to be over 21 years old (for insurance purposes in the EU)

  • Passionate about skiing/snowboarding, cooking and entertaining, be able to confidently cook to a high standard for 6 people for 5 nights - adults & children.

  • An approachable and friendly nature is essential.

  • You will need to create a warm, friendly ‘home from home’ environment in your chalet.

  • Keep the chalet to a high standard of cleanliness, we do a mid week room clean and towel change and a daily clean of communal areas.

  • Running a chalet has responsibility of food and wine ordering, linen inventories and shopping, all of which is monitored weekly by Resort Administrator/ Management.

  • Need to be female due to shared accommodation.

Driver / Representative 

Working for Alpine Action as a driver and representative 

The driver/ representative is one of the most sort after jobs in Resort. You will be directed and assisted by our Resort & Operations Manager in your duties, you will be expected to represent Alpine Action in resort to clients and suppliers in a professional manner. You should have a smart, professional appearance and presentable at all times, with a “can-do” attitude. You will need to be able to think on your feet in a wide range of situations. You will work as part of the team in Meribel.
 

You'll need to be over 21 years and have a clean full license.


(MUST BE MALE DUE TO SHARED ACCOMMODATION) 

You will need:

  • Hospitality Experience /Customer service experience

  • Love skiing or snowboarding

  • You will need a EU Passport, so European, Irish or dual nationality.

  • Full clean driving license, held for at least 3 years and must be over the age of 21 years  

  • Completely availability for the role from beginning of December to April 2022.


  • Confidently transport clients to and from the airports and provide shuttles to and from the slopes at the beginning and end of the day.

  • Maintaining the properties in resort by performing daily visits and dealing with any requests that staff and guest may need. 

  • The transportation of client luggage

  • The distribution of wine and chalet linen, with assistance of recycling around resort.

  • Snow clearance and hot-tub maintenance around the chalets.
