Considering working a ski season?

It's not hard to have a great time out in the Alps, but choosing the right company will make a huge difference to your season. Alpine Action is proud of its reputation for looking after our guests as well as all our staff.  Alpine Action is a privately owned company that has been providing catered chalet holidays in Meribel for 29 years.

Why work for us? 

The company was originally started in 1993 because of a passion for skiing and is still run day to day by those same people.

We are a privately owned Tour Operator with over 30 years of experience in the Alps.  

We look for enthusiastic, sporty, dedicated individuals who have worked in the service industry and have a sense of humour to join us. You will also be able to ski five days a week for five months on some of the best slopes in the world. You don't have to be a good skier or boarder, but you have to love the sport enough to contemplate a season working and skiing in the Alps. The work is hard, with early starts and late nights, toilets to clean and potatoes to peel, shopping and cooking, talking to guests and answering all their questions and never losing your sense of humour or your smile, even when you're tired.

If you're looking to just party for the entire season, doing the minimum needed to get by, then please take a look at a much larger company, as we will not be for you.  On the other hand, if you want get on the mountains a lot and crave job satisfaction then please read on .....

Being an Alpine Action chalet host means you will be at the forefront of our operation, you will need to provide a memorable holiday each week for our guests. In return, you will be part of a great team in the resort, you'll get to meet and host some fantastic people, and you will be able to ski almost every day for five months and improve your skiing ability for life.  We provide a great Management team to work with, excellent staff accommodation with plenty of free time on the mountain.

We know that you represent the company and play a vital role in ensuring that all our clients enjoy their holiday and the Alpine Action experience. We value all staff and this is reflected in the standard of your accommodation, the support and the general management team. We also take care to respect the chalet staff's days off. The day off is a precious time and we recognise its importance to morale and a happy energetic resort team. There are many rewards and benefits to working for a small independent company.
